The Washington D.C. Film Critics announced their favorites of the year today. I'm jumping up and down over here because this list marks Heath Ledger's first American win for his performance as the Joker! Slumdog Millionaire took the big prize, which means the film is 2 for 2. By the way, those last three awards there get a huge WOOOOOOOOOOOT. Mostly Let The Right One In. Cause we all know how I feel about that one :).
As for the other awards, Mickey Roarke & Rosemarie DeWitt were both pretty phenomenal, so I'm happy with those. Haven't seen Doubt yet, but I'm sure Meryl Streep did an amazing job cause, you know, she's Meryl Streep. And just too much Slumdog Millionaire for my taste.
Don't forget - The Golden Globe Noms are announced on Thursday. Still shaping up to be quite the interesting awards season.

Ecstatic for Let The Right One In. I can't to see Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler.
