Greatest So Say We All Shirt Yet [T-Shirt Of The Day]

How the eff did this fly under all of our radars? Did someone post about this and I just missed it in the insanity that was last week? From the guys over at Hijinks Ensue, who brought you this:

Comes this new shirt, commissioned by Olmos Productions to:
commemorate the historic meeting between the cast of Battlestar Galactica and delegates from the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland in April of 2009 in which an impassioned speech from Edward James Olmos (Admiral William Adama) resulted in the UN reconsidering its stance on using the word "race" as a cultural determinant.

Um. So. Yeah. It's $20 and you can buy it here. If you're not considering buying it, I doubt your standing as a true Battlestar Galactica fan. In fact, IS ANYONE ELSE SORT OF TEARING UP RIGHT NOW? No? Just me? Cool. See full post

Damon, Carlton & A Polar Bear Comes to a Close

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Damon, Carlton and a Polar Bear event, culminating months and months of work.

As you may recall, back in July, Damon, Carlton and Paul Sheer staged a bit where Sheer presented our lovely show-runners with a velvet painting consisting of, well, Damon, Carlton, and a Polar Bear. Thus began what has become a source of CRAZY for most Lost fans. Or at least, for me. See, every few weeks, a new limited edition Lost art print was released and every time, they all sold out before I could buy one. So when I heard that there was going to be an event at Gallery 1988 with all the art on display, plus special surprises, OBVIOUSLY I was gonna go.

Sure enough, our line-waiting efforts were rewarded with a free badass poster on card stock, none of this flimsy shit, and the chance to buy any of the original artwork, some crazy magnetized figurines or the best thing ever - a shirt version of the Olly Moss Locke print. Damon, Carlton, Bob Orci & Alex Kurtzman were all in attendance, along with tons of the artists behind the prints and other behind the scenes Lost folk. At one point I walked by Orci, Kurtzman & Doc Jensen from EW having a chat and it made my geek heart oh so warm.

Below are some photos from the exhibit, featuring brand new art & some shots of Damon and Carlton. Sans polar bear.

I lied! Polar bear!

So Much Want, It's BOUGHT [Shirt of the Day]

Am I a huge Cheers fan? No. Did a family member work on it for 9 years? Yes. Did I cry at night when I was a child because Luke Skywalker didn't exist and I wasn't his daughter? Yes. Is it necessary that I buy this shirt? EPIC YES.

But I only have 11 dollars in my wallet! The shirt costs 9 dollars, 11 plus shipping & handling you say?! SOLD. Oh, and it's only available until tomorrow around 9pm, so I better buy it now if I wanna make sure I get it?! DONE.

Tee Fury, you will be the god damn death of me. See full post

Zombies Were People Too [Shirt of the Day]

So when I was at the Fango convention in LA a couple weeks ago, I came upon a couple booths with shirts I quite enjoyed. One, I had previously seen at another convention, so didn't take a card, cause I figured I'd for sure see them at Comic Con. The other, Tattered Star, I'd never encountered before, so I grabbed a business card. This is the shirt of theirs that nabbed my attention,

I enjoy Zombies and shirts about Zombies, so this made me chuckle. Then I saw this one, which also made me lols a bit,

Teehee. He will die unless you can spell! I'm such an easy sell. To check out the rest of their catalog, just click here. See full post

If The Mario Brothers Were Real [Shirt of the Day]

We don't have Shirts of the Day generally, but maybe we should. Cause I loves me some geeky shirts. Here's today's installment in our non existent shirt feature!

Realistic, disturbing and a whole lot of awesome. You don't want to look at this shirt if you are on hallucinogens. That's just asking for trouble. You also wouldn't want to look at this. Which, by the way, will never not be creepy. If someone was wearing THAT on a shirt, I'd be upset.
