I saw Les Mis on Broadway when I was in high school and it brings back memories of French class.

If there's any musical I love more than anything, it's this. I just remember seeing the 10th Anniversary concert and falling in love. I can't wait to see the movie!

I didn't/don't know anything about Les Mis to be honest. I just heard the name a few times here and there. But after watching the first trailer and seeing that iconic poster of the girl at the end title card, I was like "OHHHH that's where the image comes from!" :) I'm pretty knowledgeable about it now, thank goodness.

I was shown Les Mis by a friend and started reading the book. About 1/3 through it and am loving it, and am anticipating seeing the play and movie ^^

I'm not really a musical person. The Lion King is my favorite movie and would love to see the stage show. My older sister is the musical nut of the family. She loves Les Mis and one of her favorite actors (Helena Bonham Carter) will star in the new film so she is incredibly excited to see it.

I haven't seen Les Mis on Broadway, but I am hoping to win in the giveaway so I can use it at a gift for someone special. :) Now, as far as a classic musical that has impacted my life, personally...I will have to say The Wizard of Oz! I first saw it when I was just a little kid, and everything about the film was larger than life for me, the production, the fantastical sets, the story, acting and of course the musical aspects of the movie and the beloved characters. It's a true classic. And is the result of my early fondness for fantasy + musicals. :)

The first time I heard I Dreamed A Dream, it was incredible. I never knew that a song could move me that much. I cannot wait to hear it in the movie. It sounds very raw and emotional in the trailer.

I'm actually more familiar with the original novel than the musical. I read it in high school in the original French and thought it was great. I really want to see this film version of the musical.

I saw Les Mis onstage several years ago. I guess what it most reminds me of us when my daughter sang I Dreamed a Dream in the school's holiday program!

My first time seeing Les Mis was the movie, so don't really have much to say on that front. Little Shop of Horrors probably ad the most effect on me growing up - it was horror, comedy, and musical all wrapped up in to one!
